​AP Overtakes SAT II: Update!

No more SAT II Subject Test in the US as announced by College Board January 21, 2021, so therefore more weight on AP scores, since "the expanded reach of AP and its widespread availability means the Subject Tests are no longer necessary for students to show what they know."

College Board will issue automatic refunds for students in the US who registered for the test. However, the SAT II Subject Test will still be available for students at international test sites until June 2021.

Since there will be no more SAT II test scores, having AP test results and strong application essays for the high ranking and exclusive universities would become a more significant factor in college applications.

SAT update!

College Board has discontinued the optional SAT I Essay. Students will have the option to take the essay test only until June 2021.
