<Boost Your High School Resume by Volunteering>

You might have heard more than once or twice that you need to make your application stand out. Having volunteer work on your university application can really make you look proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic. Aside from strong grades, volunteering is one of the biggest differentiators that help colleges decide between applicants. In this pandemic times, it’s not easy to find social-distancing volunteer opportunities. We, Steven Academy, introduce you to one of such good volunteer opportunities.

Time: Every 2nd and 4th Saturday, 8am-1pm
Organization: Pacific Islanders Together
Note: Mask wearing required, keep 6 feet distance while volunteering

Here are some things you might do as a volunteer:
1) Sorting and packing. You can keep the shelves stocked by assembling boxes of food for distribution.
2) Assisting at drive-thru pantries, and no-contact distributions. Help your neighbors feed their families.
