Nine years ago, my parents wanted to teach me and my sisters in other countries, so our family moved to the States. Even though I saw my sisters preparing for college applications, it was also a challenge to me. In freshman year, I focused only on sports activities and rugby, so my GPA was very low. Believing that I am good at English, I did not prepare anything and took my first SAT test. The result was obvious; I received 1300 in my first SAT. After then I searched many SAT academies, and I found Steven Academy through internet. Compared to other academies in Gangnam, the course fee was relatively cheap, so I registered a class right away.
Honestly, I was quite worried at first about the cheap price. I thought there would be a reason for a low price. I thought the quality of education would be lower than other academies because of its low tuition. After taking classes in this academy, I changed my thoughts. While studying in Steven Academy for two years, I have always met the best teachers.
Universities in the States consider high school GPA and SAT score as the most important aspects. GPA is the first priority, then the SAT score, then SAT2 scores are the last. Fortunately, through Steven Academy I was able to receive a high SAT score and was finally accepted to USC (University of Southern California). Thank you again Steven Academy for helping me accomplish my goals.
