AP Test Score Cancellation

AP scores can be cancelled, but via mail or fax (form in link below). Since not electronic, there's no confirmation if the fax or mail has been received, until College Board replies, which could take weeks. Also too, if you've filled out college codes while registering for the AP test that you'd like these colleges to receive your scores, as soon as they're available (most students don't do this and leave the "free" score send codes blank), then your cancellation fax, mail must be received by June 15th (most AP tests in May the month before) for those scores to be cancelled AND not sent to colleges.

If however you've received your scores and THEN decided to cancel them, use same fax, mail form to cancel and erase the scores forever (unrecoverable). This kind of cancellation can be done at any time, but must be done before you actually do send scores out to colleges before your application process. This means that some scores can be kept, some scores can be cancelled too, when you're filling out the form.
