Leaving unexplained a weakness in grades, activities, or such others in college applications is bad

There are reasonable reasons for any admissions denials, deferrals, waitlistings!

▶Admissions officers have seen it all, so they have seen quite damaging and the worst of situations. Show them that you're not that bad and explain yourself!
▶ Write in the "additional information" field and explain in a paragraph, with concise factual details. Any longer is just a long excuse.

★ Examples of explanation worthy issues ★
1) Having received a "C" grade when you have been getting "A" or ups and downs in grades in random subjects
2) When applying a year after your graduation or having had a semester off in the middle
3) When you have had many activities the year before but much fewer the next year or at the next transferred school
