① Admissions officers want to know students' trajectory of academic achievements after the latest available grades, 11th grade 2nd semester, and whether that will continue, improve, or decline
② The counselors' recommendation (The Student Report) can impact admissions quite strongly therefore
-> For example, introverted, bookish, or otherwise not proactive are especially important considerations for private universities and colleges

▶ The recommendation letters are the lens to view students' GPA, test scores, extracurricular activities, and that affects acceptances

▶ Examples of weak recommendation letters
① When the 2 teacher recommendation letters are both from math and sciences
② Both recommendation letters from non-12th grade teachers
③ Recommendation letters from non-core subject teachers (core: English, math, science, social sciences, language)
